ICID Young Professionals' Directory

At the 65th International Executive Council (IEC) held at Gwangju in September 2014, the Council approved establishing an ICID-Young Professional’s e-Forum (IYPeF) with open membership. The Council suggested to ICID Central Office to develop rules and assist in the organization of the Young Professionals Forum.

IYPeF provides an international platform to young engineers/scientists/professionals for their career development in the areas of irrigation, drainage, flood management and environment. It also provides an opportunity for young professionals to engage, network and share their experiences and also learn from the experiences of senior engineers (Mentors) in the field.

To address the regional needs, an African Young Water Professionals e-Forum (Af-YWPeF) - https://www.linkedin.com/groups/12143964/ was also established under the able leadership of VPH Dr. Mohamed Abd El Moneim Wahba, Chairman, AFRWG. Chairman of the Asian, European, and American Regional Working Groups are encouraged to take lead in establishing similar YP groups.

This YP Directory provides a listing of all the young professionals registered on the ICID website with an expression to contribute to the activities of ICID.
