Directorate of Irrigation - Erbil governorate is a technical department in the DoI. They are
responsible for project development which includes:
1- Assessment and survey
2- Design and BOQ percussing
3- Allocate Implementation team
4- Monitor and evaluation Up to now DoI design and implement : 1.2172 km.l of irrigation canals and Small clay dams (Ponds)
2.Covering more than 49307 donum of farming lands
3.Direct beneficiary is 142,456 villagers
