Mr. R. Darves-Bornoz  

Mr. Darves-Bornoz spent his entire career as agriculture engineer in the service of the Ministry of Agriculture, Republic of France. Between 1956 and 1977 he published 120 articles on water issues - irrigation, drainage and water management. He was actively involved in the training of experts, bilateral and international technical cooperation, and participated in many national and international conferences and colloquia. He also served as expert to the FAO and the World Bank. He regularly participated in ICID activities for over a period of 17 years and served also as Secretary General of AFEID.
