Brief Profile
Mr. Ruanglek was born on 18 April 1925. He obtained Bachelor`s Degree from Military Technical Cadet, Thailand in 1947; B.S. (Mechanical Engineering) in 1952 from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA; M.S. (Mechanical Engineering) in 1953 from Puurdue University USA; and Degree of Merit from the National Defence College, Thailand, in 1976. After serving in various capacities Mr. Raunglek became Deputy Director General for Construction, Royal Irrigation Department, Ministry of Agriculture, Thailand, in 1971 and in 1979 took over as the Director General of the same department. He was Vice President of ICID from 1983-1986.
