BRIEF PROFILE+
Mr. Marcel Bitoun obtained his degree of Hydraulic Engineer in Grenoble, France, in 1950. After working in Algeria and Israel on water supply and irrigation projects, he worked in Pennsylvania where he was in charge of planning and design of flood control. Mr. Bitoun joined Harza Engineering Company in Chicago in 1960 for a career of 26 years, with position of progressive importance. He was Vice President of Harza for 15 years from 1971-1986. Since 1986, Mr. Bitoun is a Director of Water Resources and Irrigation for Louis Berger International, Inc. in Washington, DC. He has been active with ICID for many years. He was President of US National Committee, ICID from 1984 to 1987. He was Vice President of ICID from 1992-1995.
