Brief Profile
Dr. Maticic was born in 1929, obtained his engineering graduate degree (1956), Master`s degree in Agricultural Engineering (1964) and doctoral degree in Drainage Engineering (1974). He had studied in USA and The Netherlands for specialization. He has held several highest posts. He has been associated with ICID activities for a long time. He was Chairman of Slovenia National Committee on Irrigation and Drainage (SLCID). Presently he is a Professor in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Agrohydrology and Soil and Water Management, University of Ljubilana. He was Vice President of ICID from1994-1997.
