Dr. Mohsen Barahimi is an experienced water resource management professional with a Ph.D. in Agricultural Water Demand Management. He holds a Bachelor's in Water Engineering and a Master's in Water Facilities. As the CEO of Abgostaran Mihan Consulting Engineers Co., he has led over 300 projects across 24 provinces in Iran, specializing in irrigation, groundwater management, and river hydraulics.
His academic contributions include 40 international papers and several books on water management. Dr. Barahimi has played a key role in national water policy development and has been an active member of several prestigious international organizations, including the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID), FAO, UNESCO, and the International Hydraulic Association. He is also a long-time member of the Iranian Hydraulic Association, where he has contributed significantly to advancing the field. His expertise spans consulting, project management, and international collaboration, focusing on sustainable water resource management in both academic and practical domains.
