Mr.Wang Lihad worked as a researcher in Water Resources History, Hydrology,Hydraulics, andSedimentationfor 24 years.Since the World Heritage Irrigation Structures(WHIS) was initiated in 2014,Mr. Wang has taken part in field investigation and research on most of World Heritage Irrigation Structures in China. He expects government, academic organization, and more and more people to be involved in the protection of WHIS and other water heritage,and hope to provide more contributions in cooperation between governments, academic organizations by organizing academic conferenceand publications.
