BIO – Dr. Noppadon Kowsuvon is an Expert Irrigation Engineer in the Irrigation Development Institute (IDI) under Royal Irrigation Department of Thailand. He received his BS from Rajamangala Institute of Technology of Thailand, MS from the University of Kentucky, and PhD from the Chiang Mai University of Thailand.  His work and research interests include assessment of urban expansion impacts using a self-modifying cellular automaton model, and conduct study, research and experiment for the King Bhumibol Adulyadej initiated Royal Development Study Centres. Dr. Kowsuvon is the Royal Thai Government full scholarship official.  He serves as an Academic Committee for Thai National Committee on Irrigation and Drainage (THAICID) and the International Network for Water and Ecosystem in Paddy Fields -THAILAND (INWEPF-THAI).
