Brief Profile
Dr. Kittiwet Kuntiyawichai is an associate professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, Khon Kaen, Thailand. He has been involved in teaching, research, and consultancy activities in the field of water resources engineering. His main interests include impact assessments in water-related issues: water resources, flood risk management, modeling of water resources systems, climate change, and anthropogenic land use change. To obtain better knowledge of the aforementioned interests, he focuses on the provision of simulation-based decision support systems by coupling hydrological and hydraulic models for the desired application. In detail, his main specialization also include the following subjects: Hydrology, Mathematical Modelling, Tele-metering & Flood Forecasting and Early Warning, Watershed Management, Flood and Drought Management, Decision Support System for Flood Warning, and Geographic Information System (GIS).
