BRIEF PROFILE+
Dr. Fayrap attended Erzurum Ataturk University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Structures and Irrigation. Dr. Fayrap received her B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Ataturk University in 1990, 1992, and 2002, respectively. Her postgraduate thesis topic is entitled "A Study on the Situation, Sufficiency and Problems of Small Dams Built for Irrigation in Erzurum Province. Her doctoral is titled Problems of Surface and Undersurface Drainage Systems of Erzincan Plain Irrigation Facility and the Solution Offers. Dr. Fayrap worked as an agricultural engineer in the Regional Directorate of State Hydraulic Works, Operation and Maintenance Department, until 2010. She had worked at the General Directorate of State Hydraulics Works (DSI, in Turkish acronym), Dept of Investigation, Planning and Allocation, Section of International Hydrological Relations for 2 years and the Dept of Operation and Maintenance, Section of Strategy Development in the years of 2012–2015. Since 2015, Dr. Fayrap has worked in the Irrigation and Drainage Facilities Section. Since 2012, Dr. Fayrap has been a member of the Asia Regional Working Group and the Environmental Working Group. Dr. Fayrap is currently ASRWG's secretary.

Studies of monitoring and evaluating irrigation facilities operated and transferred by DSI,
Studies of watertable monitoring and mapping of watertable depth and quality maps in irrigation and drainage areas,
Preparation and check of Irrigation Planning Reports and Planned Water Distribution Application Reports,
Studies on drought management and climate change.
