In order to enable the Council to determine the amount of our Annual subscription, I give below the necessary annual statistical figures (based on the criteria set out in Annex to this Appendix to the By-Laws of ICID) relating to:

(i) Subscription = US$ 1360 X (A)^0.50
For (A) upto 9.35 Mha

(ii) Subscription = US$ 1900 X (A)^0.35
For (A) above 9.35 Mha

(C) Capacity to Pay

Countries paying less than 0.30 per cent, as UNC: US$ 0
Countries Paying 0.30 per cent or more but less than 0.6 per cent, as UNC: US$ 725
Countries paying 0.6 per cent or more but less than 1.50 per cent, as UNC: US$ 1450
Countries paying 1.50 per cent or more, but less than 3.0 per cent, as UNC: US$ 2175
Countries paying more than 3.00 per cent, as UNC: US$ 2900

(D) Concession

Fifty per cent concession to be given in "Interest of the Country"element to countries paying UN Contribution (UNC) up to and including 0.03 per cent.
