Work bodies and Task Forces are ICID's original executors, they manage the technical as well as documented knowledge generation aspects of all our events, congresses, conferences, discussions, and deliberations at state, national and international levels. They are our treasured repositories of ICID'S history and the work on the ground. 

All the different types of work bodies set up by the council, namely Working Groups, Task Forces, Work Teams and others operate on a fixed time schedule to complete its mandate which could be anywhere between a time span of three to six years. Thye is responsible for preparing and releasing the requisite outcome after completion of their terms, in the form of technical papers, proceedings of the workshops, published material and others including books.
